Just when you thought it was safe to play a sport, act in a school play, or simply walk to your locker, there he or she is: the bully. Someone who may say awful things to you or make fun of you in front of other people when you’re participating in a school activity or class or simply walking down the hall. Don’t let the bully spoil your fun. You have a right to be an active high school student free of harassment or bullying. It’s all the same. Here are some things you can do:
- Hang out with other people in a group.
- Have adults around.
- Switch your schedule of activities, times, and places.
- Talk with other people.
- Talk to the bully.
- See if your parents can help.
- What about the bully’s parents?
- Get ideas from other places.
- Take care of yourself.’
- REPORT THE ABUSE TO AUTHORITIES.
Don’t let a bully stop you from doing all those things that are so much fun!
Don’t feel like you’ve got to solve this on your own!
BULLIES BEWARE!
