A New Member in LifeSavers?

LifeSavers is an excellent way to get involved in high school activities.  If you are a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior, or a brand new transfer coming in from another high school or community, it’s a great way to make new friends and get a network of connections to start getting involved in other school activities and after school activities. also.  In addition, it helps the student adjust or “fit in”, one who might be coming from a small (rural, parochial, or private) school.  LifeSavers is all about making friends and connecting to one another. We accept everyone and make them feel at home.  There are no membership requirements.  Indeed, we accept even the student who may be struggling with grades.  Additionally, we go out of our way to make the quiet or shy type student feel at home.

Some students may have few interests in music, sports and even academic subjects.  You may feel like you just don’t “fit” in anywhere.  Well, this is the group for you.  And, if you just want to be more involved in helping others and making new friends, we are there for you, too.  We have chess players and cheer leaders.  We have student leaders and learning disabled students.  We have honor students and quiet students.  We help each other get involved.  We work on the community of students.  And, we work on community service projects.  Encourage yourself to attend one or two meetings to find out what we are all about.  We have clubs on BOTH campuses and have been going since 1983.  Ask any faculty member… they will endorse us.
